Me again!!

I also shred up alotta cheese, add seasonings, and tehn toss in some egg just to hold the cheese together. Put them in mufin cups (silicone) and bake at 400 until a toothpick inserted, comes out clean. They actually don't taste eggy at all, but I might not be the best person to ask, since I love eggs and am not sick of them yet. (most of these things I make are snacks for me)

oh, yeah I make my own kefir....maybe someone has some here that they can send you? I don't know how to dehydrate it!

You can use plain full fat yogurt in place of the kefir though.

I made something like that for my girls....my egg hating 17 yr old liked them. I added a splash of cream and some chopped green onions. Kept them in the freezer and just nuked them in the AM

Yeah, I mix it up every now and again with different veggies added. I did add cream once but didn't do it again, and I'm not sure why. I think it was becasue it tasted too quiche-y, and I wanted it more muffin-y.

I will try it. With DH home as back in case I can't finish! As long as it doesn't smell really bad I'll be able to close my eyes and at least taste.
I had kefir grains and killed them dead. Dead dead dead. But I didn't have fresh raw goat's milk at the time. I will try again when I get a hold of some more.

Now, that I can do! I've gotten to a point where I can't eat eggs for breakfast unless they have cheese in them, and preferably some meat (ham, sausage or smoked salmon) and pepper chunks. Basically the egg is there to hold it all together. But that's a little complicated for school mornings!

Not for me!!

But bread is not low carb. Along the lines of breakfast not having to be breakfast, I have also known on occasion to have coleslaw and cauliflower salad (I can't make myself call it faux potato salad, cuz I really can't do faux, like faux meat just ain't meat, ya know?)

Greek yogurt with unsweetened coco powder and sweetener of choice
Almond meal pancakes
Mozzarella salad (not a typical breakfast food, but I often don't have breakfast for breakfast :D)
Crustless Quiche (make ahead and cook it in muffin tins. This freezes well)
Panna Cotta with Strawberries (see my thread on panna cotta)
Cold chicken or a salad using leftover chicken
Steak wraps

And here is an article I wrote titled "No Excuse for a Boring Breakfast"

LOL

Yup, no bread, so no sandwiches. Anything too out there is not going to grab my finicky morning appetite... ham is good. I like the make ahead crustless quiches. Some great ideas there!
As for the egg issue, it is a morning thing. I just haven't had the appetite for them in the morning lately. I can eat them once in a while for lunch. My naturopath suggested having hard boiled eggs available for snack but I just don't like them. Ever. I can eat deviled eggs though. No reason not to have those for breakfast, right? :D
