That's amazing--it looks just like a pomeranian! What are the dimensions, just curious? Maybe you could use seed beads for eyes. I have a chow mix with fur like that, you could shear her twice a year and make yarn! :lol:

I could tell it was a Spitz type breed.. Its a cute Pom..

I didnt know you could use Pom hair to felt with.

Ive been wanting to try this. But dont know where to start..

The length is about 4 inches...the height is about 2 1/2 inches. It really doesnt take long at all. Just a few hours of peace and quiet, in front of the woodstove. :)
Thanks wildsky for the info on the lid. I am excited to get into this project..I really love working with fibers..and with 7 Shetland sheep and 3 pomeranians....I have fibers coming out of my ears! LOL
Seed beads...now there is a thought! thanks! I have TONS of those from my jewlery making days. :rolleyes:

I went straight to U Tube. LOL There are tons of videos out there to help you out. Give it a try...its lots of fun!

I started doing a goat, hoping to make it look like my Nubian, Donki. I want to incorporate just a few of her own hairs into it. It will be very "folk artsy" ie: not an accurate representation! :gig

While I was with my mother this week, I went to JoAnn's, Michaels, and a private a knit shop looking for needles for felting. Nothing....

So I guess I'll have to order them online somewhere.

I know they have them on E Bay...CHEAP! Check them out. I got mine at Hobby Lobby. :)
