Twenty lbs isn't too bad -- but I really have no desire for a 60 lb behemoth running around out there, lol!

Nah it's only the broad breasted Franken-birds that get that big. Any heritage breed stays reasonably sized.

Predator has been discovered and eliminated. Grey fox, DH caught it trying to get into the turkey hoop coop last night and introduced it to the .410. Bye bye fox!

So, I think wildlife are lovely and deserve to live --- SO LONG as they don't think I am serving dinner!! Like your DH knows, sometimes we have to practice our own form of "control". It is a fact that they will continue to return. Now we both have farm wildlife that won't return.

Why can't they read the signs "DO NOT steal"???

Yes absolutely they deserve to live, if they weren't eating my chickens! This was a return trip, it would have been back again!

Wow, glad you got the rascal took care of and protected your birds! I'm so glad the deer haven't gotten into my beans and peas!! More so because I can't legally obtain the meat from them right now...but I like the produce too :D
