Tonight DD1 was off the wall, got DH's dog wound up... I'm trying to feed baby and was cursing out DH's stupid job that makes him miss all the fun, lol!

DH is starting to notice how much hay my goats are going through..... I better get out there and start feeding soon before he starts adding it up... Lol!!

Yep - always better if they don't know exactly what's going on out there, lol! Many years ago I sold a goat at a show. It was a black goat. This lady only owned black goats. She told me it was months before her husband even noticed she had a new goat!

Ha! That's awesome. My MIL used to try to hide new horses on the barn from FIL... As if he wouldn't notice a horse! (one of many reasons they're divorced I would bet!)

She did it more than once too! They did have up to 15-20 horses at their prime so... What's one more? Lol!!

I don't hide anything... Except how much hay my goats eat! Hey this winter has been brutal, let them eat hay!

Same here. The hay has been going FAST and the grain upped. It happens. Northern climate winters are BRUTAL on the feed bills.

My critters are going through hay like crazy too! I need to move some round bales this weekend, but it's so wet I'm not sure that's gonna work too well. I'll likely have to open a gate and let the goats go to the hay instead of bringing the hay to the goats. Ugh.
