We just completed 30 days of the Whole30 diet. I lost 2 pounds, DH lost 9 pounds and we feel better. We skidded off track a couple of times, it is sooo hard to give up on the carbs, LOL. But overall we are satisfied with it. We are hosting a Super Bowl party and will have loads of junk, after that, back on the Whole30.

GO PATRIOTS!

Sorry, us New Englanders are a little excitable right now, lol!

Good for you both! I am actually 5 lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight (and have been since about 5 days after baby was born), and I attribute that to my diabetes diet! My husband said yesterday Wow, eating that way really works for you. Yeah... Thanks a lot, lol. Why can't eating pizza and cupcakes work for me? :)

That's great that you're good at following your new diet NH. Are you still being fairly restrictive what what you're eating or are you able to ease up a bit now?

My diet is kinda poor these days; I'm in good health but know I would feel so much better if I cut out the junk. Ugh, and exercise. I know I've been sitting too much this winter, I'm in serious hibernation mode.

No I'm not good at following it, lol. That's the problem! I'm going to get back on it though. I've been eating whatever since baby was born, and I'm feeling it. Now I feel like I can get back to cooking and I'm going to crack down again!

The brownie I ate the other night made me ill! So I'm not actually jealous, lol.

Tomorrow is feed store run, CDT shot, hoof trimming day. Today... I um... Kept the couch company? Lol!

Yea, I got feed today...still not looking forward to unloading it. BUT, I have started asking them to put my feed on a pallet so that I end up with a new pallet every time I buy feed! Whoo Hoo - I love me some free pallets! Even if it's only one a week - they'll start adding up.

I think I might need to trim some feet too - but not sure since I can't see their feet for the mud.... :(

Ooh yeah, stupid mud! We need to do shots for the 3 old does, hooves on the 2 new ones. Cliff is spared this time. He has been crazy, bouncing off the walls lol! He needs a friend, the girls are unimpressed with his antics!

Free pallets are awesome!
