So glad baby slept well last night, I needed that! Only one middle of the night wake up call, lol!

In non-goat news, it's going to be almost 70 today! Hope the turkeys start laying, we need to hatch soon! Hard to grow out heritage turkeys in our short season up here.

A good night's sleep is precious when you have a little one! Today is going to feel like summer by you guys. We had two days in the 60's, today is much cooler and I read this morning there is a cold blast from Siberia on it's way to us o_O I can't wait….

Fingers crossed for turkey eggs soon!

Weather was great today, (human) kids were not. DD1 is off her routine and overtired and cranky! DD2 got overtired and cranky this afternoon and cried for hours. Yay? Now my husband is being miserable because I was in a bad mood today. Uh... And? Men...

Trying to persuade DD2 to go to bed. I'm exhausted!

Whew...you had quite the day, huh? There has been a lot going on at your house the last few days - to say the least, lol! No wonder the girls (and you) are tired. Hope everyone gets a good night's sleep!

Total hours of sleep was acceptable, the 2 hour party in between those hours was more fun for DD2 than it was for me, lol! She's in one of those weird growth spurty, cranky periods. Sigh.

Need to steal some colostrum for the freezer from someone. Think it'll be Lilly because she's the most cooperative and I'm not up for a fight lol. Patty did pretty well though too, so we'll see when I get out there!

Still waiting on the Jeep. Got our tax return today and DH has his eye on a cheap old Chevy that doesn't need much work. Probably scoop that up, sell the farm truck and sell the Jeep when it's resolved. He loves old trucks and can fix everything on them, plus they don't need to pass emissions so easier all around. My new vehicle is on the way from Florida now!

Heat wave is over. It's cold again :(

Old Chevy is in the driveway :) DH is psyched, it's a one ton and has a metal flat bed with removable side panels. We can now go get our own hay!

Went and got tubing for my milk machine, can't wait to milk!

Wow - that was quick! YaY! That truck sounds really cool....I'll bet you'll find lots of uses for it on top of hauling hay!

WooHoo on getting stuff for milking. When are you going to start? Did you get colostrum in the freezer? Can you tell I'm missing milking?
