Yes, we want to put a metal roof on. That will solve some problems!

Yep -- potential...just what we all need! Heck, I'm way south of ya'll and only get a portion of what's looming. "They" say more cold & snow for NY and North...that's you! the news was full of all the downed trees, power lines, closed highways. Come on, this is March!! Get warm.

It's actually a front crossing thru VA, WV and on up.
WE have a very slight chance of some "winter mix" for Monday AM. Look, I woke to 28 degrees yesterday, about 1/4" ice on water tubs as it had only been that cold a few hours, and I am NOT wanting more!!!! Was 33 this AM about 4 ish but warmed into low 40's by 9. Not what I would like but it SURE beats the tar out of what you have in NH !!! You should rethink that move South.

DH said he heard something about it. I hadn't. I can't get that to load. Therefore it isn't true. My rules!

It's actually not that cold here, just snowy. Colder than I would like though. I'm going to have worse weather for March kidding than I did for February!

DH does not want to move. So we're not. For now anyway.

DH was attacked by both roos this morning. His Cornish was lucky he had left his pistol in the house. He won't make it long here. Brewster the Dom is nowhere near as awful as this dude. I won't even feed them or collect eggs from the hen. He scares me, lol! Even DH is all done with him. I have to find a Cornish breeder... That breeds for temperament...

Oh nooooo! That just stinks! The only time I was able to stop a mean rooster from attacking me was when he got injured, lol. He attacked me, I threw a bucket at him, and was really surprised when it hit him. He limped around for awhile, and didn't attack me at all while he was hurting....but as soon as he got better he came at me it again. Once. And then he was gone...

Brewster doesn't attack very viciously. This Cornish does. When you open the other side of the coop to get eggs, he slams off the dividing wall trying to get to you. And he flies up and slams off the windows when he's locked in the coop. He sucks. He does, however, pack the snow down for his hen lol!
