Yeah I'm getting mildly sick of winter. My husband is still waiting for snow to melt so he can do all the jobs he has to do. Other than a few small things, he hasn't worked much lately. He's starting to drive me crazy, and with the snow and frozen ground we can't even get farm work done (or the work we need to do to sell this place).

It's like forced hibernation and I'm so sick of it!

Pardon my venting. I'll be better in a few weeks lol!

Oh and yesterday I got the letter from the bank saying oh hey your taxes went up so we're upping your escrow... And now as of May my mortgage has gone up $60/month. Which doesn't seem like much except that means my taxes went up $700/year, which is how much my friends in TN pay for their $320,000 house.

Sigh.

I heard something on the radio the other day that the 50 states collect almost 1/2 trillion dollars a year in property taxes alone.

Well that's depressing!

It's supposed to be warm next week. Like maybe even hit 50, lol. I need the ground to thaw so we can butcher this darn pig! My husband says I should stop feeding him as much but I can't, since he lives with the girls. Then they'll end up being pushed away from all the food! He's gotten to be rather irritating and pushy with his food. Makes me feel better about him going.

Haha right? I put grain in 2 dishes and the girls share, and he gets his own. But he'll run them off a few times and make them swap dishes, otherwise I would just put less in his.

I'm bad at weights.. Maybe 225-250. I'll make DH help me tape him, maybe tomorrow. I like to keep track of numbers for future reference. DH finds that boring, lol. Anyway piggie is looking good, not super fat but long with broad shoulders.
