Thanks, I will! Ooh that creeped me out a little, lol. I'm also scared of fish.... I don't know which is sillier!

That snail... Wow!

I've only eaten it once in a fancy, dancy restaurant. I'll say that the garlic butter they serve with it is delicious, lol!

Yes, I remember that snail! Gosh, the critters we had on that place… SNAKES! Puff adders. Beautiful beautiful things, but dangerous and the very venomous Boomslang ("Tree snake") I nearly stepped on one, twice.

But the moths down there are awesome! lol

I had garlic snails a few times. I liked it and the garlic butter is yum.

I don't know about snails... I have texture issues and that seems like an unappetizing texture!

In other news, my rooster just sneak attacked my husband and spurred him right through his Muck boot! I evidently lied about him being better behaved. My husband is slowly getting closer to considering butchering him. Although he'll be tough enough to be dog food at this point. If he so much as thinks about going after my kid, he's gone. Lots of outside chores to do today so we'll see how he behaves!

Sounds like Mr. Rooster needs a name change. Alpo maybe? I've always seen that mean roosters tend to go after little people... Hope he behaves himself today!

He has only gone after me once and never after my daughter. Well, he did once last year but she was trying to "help" a hen into the fence which looked a lot like trying to murder said hen with a stick... So I don't hold that against him lol.

My husband said the same thing about little people. Our tom doesn't particularly like her either. We keep our turkeys penned, unfortunately we are not able to let them free range. But he paces the fence when she walks by and always stands between her and the hens. Never lunged at her though. We had one tom that attacked the fence every time I walked by. He's in the freezer... Actually I need to thaw him out, he's on the menu this week:D

I have a rooster. He hates me and I hate him. I go in that coop with a big stick and I knock the fire out of him every day. He's already spurred me too many times, sporting a whelp from him now. He's on my short list....
