Well it won't be finished today anyway, they have a lot of stuff left, like the siding and skirting. It's after 8 and no one's here yet... maybe they're getting materials or maybe they realized it's a holiday lol. DH isn't home either. Huh. Oh he called while I was typing that, ha

We moved the piggie electric fence up with the snow and now there's no snow so the fence is crazy high. Guess we'll be fixing that today!

Well, awake at 2am seems to be the new thing

Hope it doesn't persist as your new normal! Is it just you awake or are the DD's also?

Good Christmas, no meltdowns yet lol. DD2 is teething so a little grumpy but not bad. It's just so rare that she's grumpy, when she is it's shocking to me! Lol no complaints here!

DH went to work tonight

Ugh on DH working tonight. Mine worked yesterday and will go back tomorrow. He needs to save up time before the next eye surgery. Ugh.

Oh boo. That's no fun! I don't even think DH gets holiday pay. He totally should though. He'll get a lot of hours this week, it's cold! Then Friday it'll be 40 again. Sheesh. Maybe he'll get some stuff butchered. Those meat pigs need to go. They are SO LOUD! And I need the 2 wethers to go. We're anxious to see if we like goat. DH has a friend who tried it and hated it, so we're curious... I have a friend who hates it also, but she hated goat cheese until she tried mine too. She said it tastes like a barn, lol. We'll find out soon!

I need to get another pig done...I told my neighbor I was giving him a half-pig for Christmas, lol. That would kinda guarantee me to get him to butcher one, huh? I was looking at the boar I have picked out to butcher next - and I'm kinda second guessing myself. He's such a beautiful example of the breed...just the right size with perfectly upright ears and just a really nice guy... maybe he'll get a reprieve.

My tiny human is not sleeping well lately. She woke up three times last night, ugh! She's been sleeping through the night forever, this is not cool! Hope it's just teething and not a habit. Oy. I'm tired .

There you go, I bet your neighbor will be thrilled!

The little one is probably unsettled by the move and now her teeth as well. Hope she settles down soon! When DS was teething we gave him a powder which apparently had some some medical grade cocaine in it (?!?!) We called it "baby cocaine" lol That stuff worked wonders for him. I'm trying to think of the name now... Something and something else... If it comes to me I'll let you know.
