I'm originally from Wisconsin where it was a crime to buy margarine
Me too!

Did they ever get their license plate motto changed from "America's Dairy Land" to "Eat cheese or DIE!" like they wanted?

:gig
LOL! Our family motto is "There's no such thing as too much cheese."

I hear ya!

I am very sensitive to flour (both wheat and white) and sugar. This is why I eat the sprouted breads...no flour. I must stay away from refined and raw sugar because I have low blood sugar and it makes me very drowsy. (I still cheat once and a while, usually in the late evening when I am ready to get groggy.)

So I am excited to get both of the books as you recommended. I hope Amazon carries used copies of them. :fl
OK, now you HAVE to get both books. You will learn so much about how to eat grains safely, if you want to, that is.

Did I mention that I LOVE those books???

ETA: I can't imagine anyone letting go of their copy! NT was updated, be sure to get the latest edition. I think I got mine on booksamillion.com

Thanks for the tip freemotion.

Wifezilla: "Eat Cheese or Die"? I LOVE Wisconsin!! We lived in Racine, my cousins live in Waupaca and my big brother lived in Kenosha. (My dad, who was in the oil business, moved us to dreaded* TX when I was 5. We go back every year in the summer :love .

*(Sorry to you Texans, after 30 years, I just couldn't take the heat, bugs and the hurricanes anymore, no disrespect ;) .)
