I hope you have better luck training him to do household chores than I did :p
A few years ago, I started working with Artie (my genius dog) to teach her to carry things, to put her toys away, and to carry a laundry basket.

Then I came home from class one day and she had put every item in the house which was not nailed down into the trash can.
/sigh
LMAO! :D That was an amazing mental image.

My grandma has a dog that fetches beer, he will open the fridge close it and get the beer, he also fetches other items but he's known for the beer;)

That is so cool! I wanted to do that, but Josh rather delicately suggested that it might be unwise to teach Artie how to open the fridge.
She's a canine sociopath. Brilliant, and totally devoid of ethics.

PS. I hope your pup gets the husky talkativeness, it's so much fun! Artie has about 10 different "woos" that all have meaning.

That little one is adorable but from the look in it's eyes- you'll have your hands full for a little while. Lots of energy.

Thanks :) and I agree about the pup pictures. The third picture he looks like he is really trying to tell you something! I love his coloring. :)

He's actually layed back, plays when you want and then stops on your call rarely jumps up on people even when playing. Super snuggly doesn't growl at things like ear tugs, teeth checks( puppy training),so far easy to correct. Hopefully he stays just as calm in the future. He's a chewer though;)

OHno by-law people want my rabbit hutch! They want me to remove my hutch in 3 weeks, apparently outdoor pets other then dogs are not allowed. They will reside on my front porch -2 of them so the smell won't be as bad. My chickens will be living in a stealth coop a "dog house" and free to roam during the day( or in the "dog" run) they will have a place in my front poorch that happens to look like they live there, though winter they might have to unless I can winterize the dog house.

I was gived a by law infraction notice about my rabbit hutch so instead of getting bullies I got proactive, I wrote a complaint letter and a letter to the mayor. The mayor actually cally ME regardimng the rabbit, he's going to try to swing it for me or chnge the whole by law. We had a 1/2 or so conversation, I think it went well:)

I have 16 chick coming this week, yet the city by law man said no coops so they might have to stay at night in a large dog house built for a german shepard:) The offical said I can free range them though, odd that they are allowed but just not ourside, stealth coop and a fake inside sleep area is what's needed,if the chickens need extra safety a dog run isn't against the by law. Can't wait for my large egg layers though I plan on only keeping 8.
