It was my cheering that did it. That plus I told you not to let it happen while I was at the board meeting!

They are just adorable - I even got hubby to come look at them. He chuckled and said, "No - don't ask."

I made SO follow this thread and showed him the babies. Then I found some kids on CL for $30.
Showed him the pics
Just did our evening round about on our little farm. We sit and watch the critters and the setting sun.
He goes: "We'll need to get that real tall fencing we saw, and we can use the little hay shed for them until they get too big for it! We'll put them back there unde the oak tree"

I don't know about you guys, but it sound like a "go ahead" to me. The search for free or cheap little goaties or sheeples is on!

so far so good. i went out there last nite and they were all standing there very happily. this morning - more of the same. i gated poor Little Nibbles in a stall and she is the most unhappy girl ever... but Debbie and the babies are doing great.

i put up a few more happy snaps here:
http://adventuresinthegoodland.blogspot.com/2010/03/goat-palooza-2010.html

more than likely the little black and white boy will go to the neighbors are a 4H project and we'll see about keeping the girl. since she is half boer and half la mancha we'll see what her body type is... so far i'm leaning at bit toward "Ginger" for the little girl.. but ... gulp.. maybe she'll be "Curry" (thanks Bourbon Red!).

the dogs think they look delicious. i still cant get over their funny little noises. the momma, Debbie, is doing great. she isnt even icky on her backside or anything. all in all it went very smoothly. especially for me seein' as how all i did was stand there and stutter.

KC - it was definitely you shakin' your pompoms that did the trick! yay!

FD - run right out and get yer goats! and consider yourself warned.. you are on the slippery slope to a lively barnyard
