Right!

I'm about to have a tall, refreshing beverage myself and sit on my back deck to look at all the waste I've been working so hard on. The bad part about it is the sun is just beginning to set. And it is just too darn quiet out there.

Please think about me while I gone doing such a horrible chore! :p

As the sun slowly sinks into the west, we say good night to our friends. Good night girls - pleasant dreams.... Oh wait, it's not really night where BBH is...... All these time zones get me confused, and I stay confused anyway....(nods off still typing.....zzzzzzzzz)

They sound gross. :/ What are some heritage breed meaties? They aren't as gross are they?

Bald, heavy breathing, fat, lethargic baby birds sounds just NASTY! :sick
They don't get that way, if you pasture them. That is what we do.
Mine look like that BEFORE they are moved outside. Two week old gross babies! :sick

no! but hey Free if you came over she'd see a COUGAR and be scared and they would fall out!?!?! (re: BB and the hair thing and i think you were waaaaaaay more lecherous than me!!)

yesterday Little Nibbles rolled around, pawed the ground, and made a lot of grunting noises.. but she's still eatin' like she ain't goin' to prom... so i dont think she's ready yet. if she ever does stop shovelin' it in we may be good to go.

the good news is that Debbie was full to the brim again - and the babies dont seem any worse for wear. hopefully the (good) neighbors can take the male pretty soon - he needs to be banded. soon.

i'm headed back out (was about for a while) to see if the meat chix made it in their new brooder/tractor.

:)
