Dagnabbit OFG........I was just gonna ask if you and the big man were gonna give farm tours during our little get together in a few weeks.

I promise to not get up on your milking stand.......... :gig

short hijack:
I just had to drive a car about a 1/2 mile down the road to a local body shop, and decided to simply walk back. DANG but it's HOT out already! :barnie

NO, SKR8PN, no! no more farm tours!

i'm sending the dogs out on training maneuvers to keep everyone off the property. we'll be working on Defensive Pattern Alpha Zeta One. 'course we'll be practicing on them pigs.

but we'll be ready for ne'erdowellers or visitors.

pull up a school bus full of kindergartners? i'll set the dogs on 'em.

van of blind old ladies? they'll be greeted with a big snarling mass of mouth and teeth.

gate = firmly locked!

now if i could only broker a peace treaty between the dogs and that gander, OD, we'd have control over this part of the county for sure.......

HA!!!

no way Lori! but funny you should mention it -- the good neighbor mom sent her 4H kid over THE NEXT DAY with hoof clippers in hand. she arrived at 9am, promptly. i'm guessing it was a 'thanks' for all the hubbub.

and she did a great job!

i paid her $10

at least SHE didnt almost kill Nibbles!!!

honestly, it took her like 5 mins (with me holding Nibbles) to get her all trimmed up. i'm telling you - the best thing about this property is the 4H neighbor kids

It is always great to have neighbors with skills. I am trying to find a 4H for P to join but recently found out that they have to be 8 years old to join, so i will be waiting another year I guess.

Glad that the goaties settled down after the sith people scare wore off.

Ask about "Clover Kids". I think they can be younger. If there is not already a group, start one! 4-H provides all of the materials and makes it easy!
