well. just so's ya know... the MIL left. all i'm sayin is that my husband should know better than to leave me alone with her.

i mighta ended up telling her there was no way in sam h*ll that i was gonna give her any of the goslings - or any of our poultry for that matter - because of her stupid dogs.

she told me that "dogs wont bother chickens"

yep. after she went on and on about how our ducklings are starving, that Debbie the goat came from an abused home, and how after i made a full lunch including our turkey, risotto, beans, corn on the cob, and peach cobbler.... and the only thing she said was good was the corn. well. i had plenty of the claptrap.

i'll be repentin' later but for now i'm just kinda cross.

My MIL (God rest her soul) (I always wanted to say that), used to drive me to distraction. Nothing I did was right. If Gary cut his finger and I put a bandage on it, she had to replace it when she saw him, etc. But you know, I miss her. She kept me on my toes.
