hee hee sorry Blackbird! i'll have to go back to calling her BibBird for short!
Evita (or Vita for short) is our big ol' saanen. we just love her - and she's a great milker. of course she wouldnt be caught dead grazing... but if we bring her the weeds she bellies right up and eats her fill. however, we did sneak out of the house one day...and she was down in the weeds, grazing, just like everyone else. she ran when she saw us tho!

i just cant help myself. i just love my big old goofy goat.
i contacted the breeder and am waiting to hear back from him about when he'll take her back for the fall/winter. last year she went back in late august. it works out so well for us to have her in the spring/summer.. and they he breeds, over-winters, and kids her. but we miss her while she is gone. besides, she keeps the law and order around here. she's totally our queen.
