I've cooked 2 meals on top of my woodstove I bought this year. Pinto beans one night and pork ribs with cabbage last night. That little sucker really puts out the heat. And the nice thing is my electric heat doesn't come on at all during the day and only about 3 - 4 hours at night.
It'll take about 2 months before I see a difference on my bill because they average out the last 12 months, but I'll begin to see one soon.
