Just getting ready to go open the chicken coop. They won't be getting outside their run today - wind is blowing so hard they'd end up in the next county. The cold is coming back this way now. Hope everyone your way is staying warm.

we made it! and the lights are still on! for now

but wow what a wind out there! no damage but its realy blowing.. i think our clucks will end up in the next county also so we arent running right out there.

but i hurried up and made coffee, and ate pie for breakfast.

58 in my apartment right now. I'm huddled in fleece pants and my hoodie. My cat is sobbing to me that it is frakkin COLD and I need to get ready for work and then I'll get a blanket in my lap for her. The other is wound around the space heater.

What's wound around the space heater - the other cat, or the other blanket? Keep yourself warm, that cat has on a fur coat!

Shivering here too. All the polar fleece got pulled out when the temps fell. Extra blankets on the bed and couch. I haven't had to put up with temps like this since I left Wisconsin decades ago! Brrrrrrrr
