What are all of these ads of which you speak? You all need to get a GEEK son! I haven't seen an ad for years. :p
I'm workin' on it. He's only 8 going on 9. He's better at passing gas right now than fixing computer issues.
Prime candidate! ;) :D

Does he also spend mass amounts of time dismantling everything you own to see how it works? If so then he also qualifies.

Back to the gas indeed! :)

So, to go back further, to the reason for said cutting of gas
OFG, do you need to pasturize the goats milk before using it in the cheese processes? and can you make butter with goats milk? :D

Back to the gas............you guys kill me.....I can't even see the name of this thread in my inbox now without breaking into silly laughter again. :gig

Hubby, who does not think gas is funny remember, is giving me his disgusted look when I told them what I'm laughing about.

The ad at the bottom of my page is now for Campmor. Actually, that's not a bad place to get some good camping gear on line.

Hey OFG, :frow

I just got back into town and ran over to see if there were any new goats at your place.

All I find is a bunch of stinky gas!! Whee you guys are killing me.

So any baby goats while I was gone????

I put the baby monitor out in the barn so I could hear if any of my other goats went into labor, and one receiver is downstairs where hubby watches TV.

Last night my herd queen, Eloise, put her front feet up on the milking stand as I was sitting on it giving the goats some lovin. As Eloise put her front feet up, she let out this long drawn out pppffffftttttttlllthp and I had to leave. Poor goats just stared at me like "what? why are you leaving?"

I walked inside and hubby said I should lay off the chicken and mushrooms for a while.

ok we need tshirts that say "back to the gas!"

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

this morning the gas report is that there has been no undue gassing but the dogs really smelled up the entire outside with their poops (i gave them some milk yesterday from Vita).

so

Colo - nope i do NOT pasteurize the milk at all. i'm all raw, all the time.

however.

all the cheese books tell you how to pasteurize the milk if you want to. they also give an overview of raw vs not and really its a personal decision. my strong recommendation is to do the research and decide for yourself. there are ways to pasteurize at home that was way less harmful to the milk then the ways they do it in commercial dairies.

hi Tanks!

nope no new goats. i'm beginning to think that they are all a bunch of fakers. we got Vita back from the breeder on saturday so i'm milking again.. but she got a couple big ol shots of penicillin so i cant drink it yet. boo!

thats the word here.. now "back to the gas!"

I was wondering how Vita is doing. Poor girl.
I got a whole cup of milk out of just Rory this morning - in under 5 minutes! I am still not liking the taste, but my daughter hasn't noticed when I give it to her :)
The babies tried to destroy the barn yesterday when they had to be inside. Literally bouncing off the walls, their mamas, the warming box - they totally moved it and I had to hang the lamp high because they were trying to swing from it. They have been outside all morning running off their stored up energy
