ok we need tshirts that say "back to the gas!"

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

this morning the gas report is that there has been no undue gassing but the dogs really smelled up the entire outside with their poops (i gave them some milk yesterday from Vita).

so

Colo - nope i do NOT pasteurize the milk at all. i'm all raw, all the time.
however.

all the cheese books tell you how to pasteurize the milk if you want to. they also give an overview of raw vs not and really its a personal decision. my strong recommendation is to do the research and decide for yourself. there are ways to pasteurize at home that was way less harmful to the milk then the ways they do it in commercial dairies.

hi Tanks!

nope no new goats. i'm beginning to think that they are all a bunch of fakers. we got Vita back from the breeder on saturday so i'm milking again.. but she got a couple big ol shots of penicillin so i cant drink it yet. boo!

thats the word here.. now "back to the gas!"
you know, that's something I've come to expect with you, raw all the time :p :gig :gig  :gig
Seriously though, thanks for that! I tried raw goats milk once and wasn't sure if I liked it, I'm going to have to try and get some fresh from the goatherd :) I'd also like to get some to try my hand at cheese before we ever get goats, as a way to slowly introduce CJ into having goats :) You really have to lead him by the hand, let him have a couple almost ah ha moments, and then let him have a AH HA! moment where he tells you why it's such a good idea, lists all the benifits, and tells you it was his idea to do this  :th the things I do for love, and to get my way :D

I think that automatically comes with the Y chromosome software package :gig

What are all of these ads of which you speak? You all need to get a GEEK son! I haven't seen an ad for years. :p
I'm workin' on it. He's only 8 going on 9. He's better at passing gas right now than fixing computer issues.
Prime candidate! ;) :D
I'm hopin'! I love geeks!! DH is not a techno geek but an auto, mr. fixit geek. He's very handy to have around. Two geeks and me? I could live with that!

Does he also spend mass amounts of time dismantling everything you own to see how it works? If so then he also qualifies.
That was DH's tactic as a kid. He still does it. DS watches. Does that count?

I just about snorted my coffee this morning when I saw your thread name had been changed to "back to the gas...."

DD will be famous for that line............:gig Hubby was askiing me why I was just suddenly breaking into giggles all day yesterday (not even at the computer, just remembering). He thinks I'm going a little off my rocker I think. :hide

Please, back to KIDDING so my sideache from it splitting will go away.
