Anyone else find it strange that the most popular thread (by sheer number of daily posts) is devoted to GAS and the impending goat kidding is a sideline???

Did you call Noah yet and order up an ark? We have a lake now, with a beautiful 4 car garage/hay barn on an island right in the middle of it. Boy do I love this time of year

I cannot believe our school hasn't canceled yet. 2 hour delay so far and it is really bad. That's the news here. I'll be battling the blasted starlings all day.

OFG....I think we're mirroring each other's lives right now.

This past Sunday we also shot a possum - it was sleeping peacefully in the nesting box inside the hen house. That is until we found it.

My pygmy Opi's been 'faking it' since two weeks ago. Now that I'll need to build them a tree fort to keep them out of the lake that is their pen and barn I'm sure she'll kid.

And - when I went out the other night to check on them a rat climed up the hen house wall and into a crack.

BUT - My blue kote is inside the goat 911 box and that's where it will stay. Luckily it's Friday so I get to dress down for work and I just wore my barn clothes. If they don't like the smell - get outta my office.
