That's one of my random pet peeves.

Migraines are very specific to which nerve is causing the issue. A tension headache is not a migraine, but migraine sounds more pitiful so people use the term.

It's like any upset stomach that goes around we call a flu bug. It's very rarely actually influenza.

Or people who say "I'm getting pneumonia" every time they have a cough LOL.

Really, mine are just tension headaches. I hold myself too tight and clench my jaw and lean forward into the computer etc etc. Definitely just doing it to myself, too LOL! Nothing else I can blame it on

the scene:

At dawn, a red sun rises on the faces of OFG, Titan, Lucky, and Kai.

The company is tense, Lucky and Kai nervously paw the ground, Titan barks an order for them to be still. OFG paces.

"Anything, Sargent?" asks OFG deeply serious.

"No Momma, not yet." replies Ti, addressing her but looking into the East, "Do you want me to send out the patrol again?"

"No, no.. just focus" she replies following his gaze.

The morning air is silent, the breeze all but still.

Then suddenly Ti leaps to his feet, his nose in the air. Lucky follows him and zeros in on the same scent. Kai assumes her breed's hunting stance - head low, back straight her legs starting to bunch under her, a deep growl in her throat.

OFG, axe in hand, strides forward straining to see what the dogs already know.

Breathless, she barely whispers, "Its starting."

My doc told me that what some people call "tension headaches" other people call migraines. Doesn't that sound more dramatic?

So what are your big projects for today, OFG? You always sound so energetic, it gets me off my butt.

Tension headaches are the thyroid hurting from being stressed

That does not surprise me. Auties + stress = bloated, sore, and tired.
