I was up with the sun this morning as well. I must admit we don't have the heat yet but it is definitely bright as heck out there.

I hope to get some laundry on the line today.

We've a high of 90 today. The fans are pulling in the nice cool air. I'd close it up and save 5-10 degrees of heat in here but I feel too closed in without the fans pulling outside air lol. So I compromise.

When I shut up to keep out the heat I keep the ceiling fans on and some box fans blowing across the floor. Keeping the air moving helps me to be OK with the windows closed during the hot part of the day. Try it Abi.

As usual your OH weather is headed our way. We will have temps in the 90s by mid week. it was 80 today, a slight increase from the beautiful high 70s we had all weekend. It was spectacular!

I thought TEOTWAWKI had come and the heat was melting the sky... but alas, it was a natural phenomenon called rain. We didn't really get to see enough to become familiar - looked like someone spit in the garden.

We thought we were getting a real rain yesterday, but it was just a sprinkle here and there, mostly there cause none of it fell here. We did have a cooling down, low humidity type day, so we got the bean fence strung up and they're already grabbing and climbing. My squash is finally starting to grow. By this time next week I'll be fussing cause I can't keep up with it.

I'm really sorry y'all are getting so much rain, but if you'd blow harder maybe some of it would get down here....
