OFG, homemade spike strips in the grass? Way back when when my grandpappy had issues with local kids sneaking their cars through a field to get to a secluded "party" spot, that stopped all traffic after that weekend. :idunno

Good idea, just one problem. In this day and age, that's setting yourself up for a lawsuit. :he

I'm not sure that woman could even DO a jumping jack!!! Holy moly!! I'm 5'9". I can join in.... this is just ridiculous. What do you have to do, put up a fence AND a sign that says "This is hay you idiot! Unless you want to pay to feed my animals get off of it!"
yeah that. and i'm gonna start acting crazy - maybe that should scare him off.

. . . start acting crazy ???
We love you, but it's too late for that. You might want to reinforce the floor before the team jumping jacks start -and warn the nearest seismologists to ignore the next few minutes readings.

Back in the good old days, the head of a pig on a pike would serve as a warning...or so I'm told ;)

I'll come help OFG. The sight of 2 short women stomping toward him (even if he is on a tractor) would send shock waves through his heart. They'd find him laying beside his tractor while it putt-Putt-putted right on without him, moanin' and groanin' something about 2 wild women with pitchforks and battle axes and 3 gigantic dogs - btw - has he ever been up close and personal with your dogs? That might just keep him on his side of the road.

ah... i love the good old days. i really should find those headz. i'm guessin they are good and ripe.

so i'm starting today with a more optimistic attitude than yesterday. and pie.

but before all that i thought i'd complain a little.

what is with this rain? i mean SERIOUSLY. everything is so soggy out there. the ground squishes when i walk and there is no way i can get anything planted. or tilled. or even mowed. pulling weeds wont even work at this point.

its so bad that the walk ways thru the yard are as slick as ice - but poop covered and so forth. and moss. moss for crying out loud!

the goats hate it, i hate it, the chickens appear unfazed... but i think they are just excited by all the worms.

so now that i've had a half a ham sandwich and a piece of pie i think i'll make it back to cheery and optimistic.

thats the story here.

it was raining here this morning, too, and it's super overcast and yucky - and I was wanting to open the hive but hopefully tomorrow if the weather is better.
