The DerDutchman stand is right outside the barn at the fair and I WILL be stopping in for one the next time I go back.

Its funny you should mention donuts. I read your post to hubby, so he went off on his own story telling..about our trip to Indy the other day. He ended with.....chewing on a donut, only to realize it was the "donut tire" HAHA!

How have I walked past the DerDutchman doughnut stand every day? Truly, I do not know how I have been able to overcome the temptation so far. :p I don't live far from the actual restaurant though, so I get them whenever I want :D

My puking kid is better. She slept all day, which means she will probably not be able to sleep tonight :he

My stupid younger chickens keep getting out by hopping over the fence. Then they can't get back in and I have to go chasing them. (why are they so stupid? WHY?) I have to chase them because they are going into the neighbor's yard. I'm bout ready to kill me some chickens :somad It's too hot to clip wings, man. Plus they've all been in poison ivy that said neighbor has all over the place.

My chickens do that too. I just clip everyone's wings now, it is easier than anything else. I catch em at night when they are going to bed. Actually I send Trouble out for them, one by one, to pluck them off the roost. Any other time of day it is too hard to catch them. That is how I sprayed them all for lice too. They don't fight so much when they are tired.

It is so nice when kids get old enough to help. Trouble milked for me this morning when I wasn't feeling well.

OFG, I thought of y'all yesterday. I was hiding in Dollar Tree. (It was pouring rain. Made for lousy driving conditions!) And, they had a 4 pack of FOIL tiaras! Just what y'all need!

*Kai jumps up excitedly......

"FOUR tiaras? Then Ti can wear one and Lucky can wear one and YOU can wear one, too!" Can we go to the Dollar Tree now? Huh? Huh? "*
