Drake, you are not too far off the mark on the bait breath!
I have a patient who had a stroke yesterday and is acting a little mean. I no more than darkened her door and hadn't even got across the room when she said, "YOU STINK!" Being the person that I am, I had to laugh and ask, "What do I smell like?"
She replied, "Like S#$@*!"
Of course, she has been saying things like that all day to everyone but I just had to do the sniff check when I left the room to see if I really stunk!
Maybe I really DO have bait breath today....I did have a taco salad for lunch!
Anyhoo.....I really DO thing that hoohoo is medically based terminology...I'm sure I learned that in nursing school.....
Bee, you are funny. I'm sure it was all in that lady's head.
You know . . . my husband and I were in downtown Seattle the other day, in our car, but I had my window down and this lady on the street (mentally in a questionable state) actually yelled at my husband "Hey F--- Face!" I nearly died laughing, because he had been being a bit of a jerk a minute before, but I miraculously kept a straight face.
You guys are keeping me in stitches, but I have to go . . . .
Oscar, now that is a cute name and also a food name, I like that!
When I put the poor little guy (I caught him with a fishing net btw and boy did he squeal!!) I released him into the pen and he ran out blindly into the duck pond. Pretty good swimmer I might add. Then I just wanted to wrap him up in a blanket, a pig in a blanket! Seriously though he was shivering, I felt so bad. However, the alternative of getting munched by coyotes in the forest would have been much worse.
I have some straw under a little house that he can stay warm and dry tonight. I have an extra bendable livestock panel that I'm going to bend into a nice round enclosure tomorrow. He is rootin around and eating cracked corn and pellets as we speak...and oinkin so cute. He is a happy little pig.
Oh and I am sooo happy to say the dogs, the old one and my LGD aka "the bouncer" said he could stay!!! I guess they are getting used to me bringing home new animals.
BBH.........ya know...........since we are friends and all..........I would be more than willing to help you with the dilemma of finding a proper home for your wayward oinker......
