Thanks you are right. He wasn't mean about it he's just a little more savy with money....could be because he is the one with a JOB!!!! I am student teaching so I am not getting paid for 5 months!

Funny! Sorry I plan to use them both for sure! I am all pumped and I know my family now will be looking to me for more goodies (pickles, kraut, apple cider...._ . Funny how things happen!

ive seen them a fraction of this size go for over $100 at auctions. $50 is a steal for that size. My gram makes saurkraut in one a little smaller than that, it was her fathers.

My mom has her mothers and it is smaller and I wanted for sauerkraut and she said no that she was using it for decoration in her living room! Blah what a waste!
