One of our "ladies" is registered and the other is not. They both have served their time well teaching my kids to ride, going on trail rides, 4-H meetings and to lots of shows. Now they are semi-retired and they live at D1's house. They are totally family. They will not be sold for love or money.

Our feed bill has dropped about 300.00 per month. Our son went to college at the beginning of September.

One Medium dog and at least one foster dog - $70 - 80 for a 2 month supply of local meat, veggies and some kibble.

2 bantam pullets - $12 for 50 lbs of feed - lasts about 6 months

2 pastured lambs, they get a little grain and minerals - $14 for grain - lasts 5 months, and minerals $20 will last about 1 1/2 years.

Total per month: about $41 - 47.

This is the first winter with sheep and I expect the feed to go up a lot.

Feed is about $1200.00 a month.
Hay varies, but is usually around $120.00 - $150.00 a month.

This is pretty much bare minimums, and is higher if we have a shortage of rain.
