That bread looks great! I love making homemade bread,..and eating it,.:hide

I love how you guys are going totally off grid. I wish I could do that here, but right now with the kids I am out voted. I had this discussion with someone the other day about going without electricity. My point was that it is a luxery and it will go before I am not being able to feed my family,..(this was about the grocery prices going up)He said it wasn't a luxery,..that it was a necessity,...I find it funny how displaced people have come form their not so distant relatives. They survived without any means of electricity and any types of luxeries. They had outdoor bathrooms, they had hand pumps on their wells, they had woodstoves to heat and cook on, they used candles and other means for lighting, they cured a lot of meat and canned many things(including their meats) they had root cellars to keep things cool,...they done it all,..and really it wasn't that long ago. Imagine how nice it would be without all the clutter,...the simplicity of it all. One day when my kids are grown,....:D

Sorry to take so long to get back to your on this...

My husband too a look at it...He said "All talk, and No Tech"... "If it were something that worked, it would be getting more attention given the current need for new energy sources."

His company produces fuel cells for Hospitals and large industries. They are on the cutting edge of energy technologies. (United Technologies Inc.) If there is a better way out there, it would be big news in the industry.
