I thought I was subscribed to your thread..but I haven't been getting notifications :idunno

How frustrating PP. I had that same experience with my pediatrician when the twins were born. He was so completely clueless, so we fired him.

My 9 yo is vaccinated completely. My 4 year old hasn't had her 5 yo shots yet, and I don't know how I'm going to approach that yet. The twins have only had their shots up to 12 or 18 months..I can't remember which for sure, but I know I stopped as soon as the Nurse giving them mixed the boys shots up and gave one of them two doses of one....and that son has autism. I don't yet believe that the shots in and of themselves cause Autism, but I do believe that the heavy metals in them are especially dangerous to those genetically predisposed to Autism. As I feel was the case with my son. But his twin brother is also showing much milder signs of it... all of this opinion of mine is subject to change as I learn more about this, especially since I'm still so new to it all, but it just makes sense that Metals in our food, vaccines, etc are not good for us. Duh medical community.

:smack Someone needs to remind me again that I am NOT to leave DH in charge of anything when it comes to the kids activities!!! (Really didn't have a choice because DH has been taking the kids to Rangers on Wednesday night.) Yesterday 13 yo told me that my brother was going to come pick him up and take him to the church today....he has to be there at 1pm so he can go to winter camp....and I am still supposed to be on driving restrictions for another 4 weeks. So, when 13 yo told me that my brother was going to take him I figured he had talked to him about it yesterday when my mom took me to my OB appointment and my brother was watching them. I just called my brother to confirm and make sure he was coming...he was still in bed. He had NO idea what I was talking about! :th Here DH had told 13 yo to ASK my brother to take him and to CALL him just before he had to be there. So, 13 yo was going to call my brother at 12pm to ASK him to take him to the church at 1pm!!! :smack

Remember your bp, girl!!

Your 13 is old enough to do for himself and possibly learn some responsibility. If he doesn't get it done, it should not be up to MOM to make magic happen. IMO :hugs

LOL Pam
I enjoyed reading your journal and catching up.

and you had alot of ":smack" in the post...HA HA HA
yup, remember that BP!!!!!

relax girl.....you got alot happening. and with a new baby you will have more on your plate.....so chill out. Let things slide and put DH in charge and never look back. if it happens, it happens, if it don't it don't.

I let Tony handle more things and I just look away....best for me to do that. Most times it works out well, but those few that don't..ugh...I just say, so what anymore.

LOL-LOL
peace of mind.....DH's gotta love them..HA HA HA

I am calm. I stayed calm. My DH just lacks a little bit of common sense when it comes to the kids activities.
Betty (lady that taught me to sew) came over this evening for a couple of hours and just held the baby. 13 yo is at winter camp. At least it is supposed to be in the 30's this weekend. DH took 11 and 9 yo to the 4H shooting thing this evening. 4 yo DD took a nice long nap this evening and 6 yo just ran around trying to get attention the whole time Betty was here. I had a rather enjoyable evening.

I seen a lady on BYC posted some Great Pyr's for $50. My DH, the dog lover, is actually saying no dog right now! LOL! But, they are cute 'little' puppies!

Now, DH is holding the baby and we are all just sitting watching a Lifetime movie....One True Love.

:celebrate I stepped on the scale this evening and it said 185.8!!! OMG!! I have never lost the baby weight this fast before!! My OB says my weight was probably all from the pre-eclampsia then since it is coming off so fast. I have been eating carbs like they are going out of style!!

Stepped on the scale this morning!! 184.6!! :celebrate

My DH also said we could get one of the Great Pyr puppies!! It was MY idea so if I ever complain about the dog.... :smack ME!! LOL!!! Now we just need to work out the details to get it from TN. DH said that if the this breed is as good with kids as they say then he is ok with it. I want a dog that will not let other dogs mess with the kids if they are playing in the yard.

If I calculated correctly...and didn't mess them up....I should be having some quail eggs hatching tomorrow!! I saw two eggs wiggling yesterday! So now I am just watching and waiting!! :pop

I got the bill for my OB today. $3964.64!!
My portion is $218.64 so I am not complaining! (If I read the bill correctly.) I feel that my OB is the BEST and she deserves every bit that the insurance pays her! Of that near $4K, $3100 is just for the c-section charge.

I just went and looked at the quail eggs and the one egg is still wiggling!!

I think my older boys think it is their self proclaimed duty to spoil the baby!! If she is not eating then they want to hold her and pass her around! And if she cries that is a SIN!! I MUST feed her immediately!! LOL!!
