Lol I know the feeling of the little ones being up all night. It usually takes some time for them to flip that day to night routine. Maybe try keeping her up more during the day? Glad to hear the Bfeeding is going well. I nursed all of mine until they were about 18 months. So many benefits for the Babbie's. Your little ball-o-baby will be huge in no time with all that nutritious milk. Oh and the starving thing then going to sleep. Shes just playing you, she wants to be held. She knew she should of been in the oven longer and wants her due time. :D

Glad to hear the DH is secure with his job, sorry to hear about his day off concerns. We got cut vacation days last year. We sat down about a week ago to count and plan what was most important and where we would use them. Kinda a bummer when you have to cancel plans. A quilt convention, especially.

Good job on the weight loss. I think I had such an appetite with my bfeeding I actually ate more.

Have a good day.

It's so good to hear that the little one and you are doing well! Both of mine did the sleeping ninny thing too! I have pictures of both children asleep on the breast. Chad got the biggest kick out of it. I had so much milk with my son that he would fall asleep and the milk would roll down his chin and puddle in my lap! Breastfeeding is such a wonderful experience!!!

Glad you are doing so well and sounds like the baby has already stated off getting things her way. LOL

Emma did the sleeping ninny thing and still will if given the opportunity. The pediatrician told my DD to use a cold wet wash cloth and rub her face lightly with it when she went to sleep while nursing. It took about a week and a half for her to get the message. Of course she still has not got the message that night time is sleep time. LOL

Nursing moms usually lose weight faster don't you think? I personally believe the whole nursing experience is as good for the mothers well being as it is for the baby.

I may try the cold wash cloth! I usually take her hat off and rub her head and mess with her ears. We also try to change her diaper right before I nurse her so she is good and awake.

More exciting news: The scale said 187.6 this morning! :D 4 pounds to go and I will be at my pre-pregnancy weight. Then I will really have to work to get more weight off after that!

I went to my OB today for a bp check. My bp was 150/90...that is with bp medication. So, no getting off of it yet.
I went to Toys R Us while I was out...my mom drove. I got two sleeper swaddlers, a pack of 12 cloth diapers to make into burp clothes, a matress for the changing table and a sheet to go on it, and a pink bouncer.

Baby girl is near entirely Bfeeding now. She is doing really good!! She is only waking up a couple of times at night....now if we could just get her to sleep in the bassinet things would be so much easier!! I take her back to the pedatrician this evening to get a well care check up and weigh her. Hopefully she is gaining weight. She does seem bigger to me.

My brother was nice enough to watch the four boys for me while my mom took me to my appointment. I came home and the house was a MESS!!! :barnie I mean you could not even walk through the kitchen, living room, or dining room!! :ep They have got most of it cleaned but, it certainly is no where near cleaned up yet! One of the kiddos...probably 6 yo.... used a crayon sharpener and sharpened a red and yellow crayon and the shavings are all over the living room floor!!! The Wii controlers were on the floor with the batteries taken out and the backs all off of them...and they had been playing the PS2 not Wii. At least they are all alive and unharmed.....for now!!!!!

On a bright note: My scale said 187.2 this morning!! 3 more pounds to go! Then I have to try getting more off after that!

Right now I am in a debate as to what to do with a bunch of clothes that a friend of mine gave me. Should I just get rid of them or tag and hang them all and have a garage sale?? I have done garage sales before. I usually make about $200 at a time. But it is a TON of work and I would have to store all of the stuff until I have the garage sale. I would also have to have the garage sale at my mom's house. She said she would run the garage sale and help me set it up and everything but she absolutely will not store any of the stuff/clothes. Right now I have TRUCK LOAD of clothes!!

Do they know why your bp is still so high? Stress maybe?

Garage Sale:
Storage space needed
Extra work and time needed
Take to mom's
Do something with stuff that doesn't sell

VS

Donate the stuff to charity
Convince the ladies of the church to have a garage sale to raise money for the kids' programs or needed item?

I'd donate it, but that's me.

I had a huge pile of stuff in my garage. I worked for two days and sorted and tagged. Moved it all into the yard. Got up the next morning to sell. I got rained out. Made a bit of money but definitely way too much work. I go with the donate idea. Unless you have space to store the stuff until a better time.

Glad to hear the little girly is doing well. :)

My bp took a while to come back down after my other ones too. We are just monitoring it a little closer and taking meds for it this time.

Woohoo! The payment came for the apartment today!! I know it is the second one but it is still exciting!! Now, I am wondering if we should still take the extra $160 and put it on the HELOC or just use that for medical bills.

I got $87 in medical bills today.....$75 the day before yesterday (that was for 4 bills in total. And a 'bill' from the hospital that was not even a bill that just said we owed our $500 deductible to them! I have not even seen a bill from my OB at all yet!
