Peace and Quite are probably hard to come by at your house so enjoy. Sounds like everyone is helping so that is good.

Just ride out the last weeks with as much rest as possible and take care of yourself and that baby.

We will be swapping baby pics before you know it.
Last night was the first time I had been home by myself in a LONG time!! I never realized how many noises my house made on its own! I guess I just never hear them because I just assume that it is the kiddos doing something all the time. I never realized how loud the washing machine is! DH is going to be taking the boys to Tae Kwon Do starting next week so I will have Wed, Thursday, and Sunday mornings of quiet time!! What will I do with myself?? LOL!

Glad to hear that you are getting some good quality time by yourself...that really helps. My best friend was on bed rest for 6 weeks of her pregnancy and it drove her nuts. I hope you and the baby are doing well and continue to feel good.

Good news too about all the wood! I miss our woodstove...we had one growing up and it sure does feel good to have a fire going in the house.

I'll check in with you later...

I am just glad that I am not on bedrest for Christmas! I was on bedrest for two weeks before I had my 6 yo...and he was born at 36 weeks. I did not even know I was pg until I was 9 weeks along when I was pg with my 6 yo and then delivered a month early so that pregnancy went really fast! Now it just seems so unreal that this baby could be here in just 6 short weeks!

Congrats!!! You're in for a surprise after boys! Although my daughter is just as rough and tumble as my son! She takes after her mama... :D

I have 4 boys and 1 girl....this makes my second girl. Girls are all together different than boys!! Before we knew what I was having I was really happy either way...boy or girl. My boys are so much easier! They get themselves dressed and showered. They have the choice of jeans or dress pants....the same type of suit this year as last year. DD on the other hand....I make all of her clothes that she wears out in public! So, of course, the new baby girl will have to have handmade boutique clothes too! Plus DD's doll baby's outfit has to match her's....so as soon as the baby is big enough to have a doll I will have to be making 4 outfits...two for the girls and two for the dolls! So I had prepped myself before my u/s that I was happy either way...but when my OB said girl I was really happy! I did not realize how much I wanted another girl until she said it! But, I actually think another boy after this will be nice.
My 3 yo DD loves to play in the dirt and be just as rough as the boys! My motto is "As long as she is in pink or a dress she can do whatever she wants!"

Wow, PP! Having only one child it's hard for me to imagine having 6 children. He's 18 and tells us all the time we'd better be nice to him because he alone has the decision as to what nursing home we will go to. :gig

I'll be your house is wonderfully chaotic on Christmas.

Take care of yourself and enjoy your "me" time.

My DH only has a brother so I tell my MIL all the time that she needs to start picking out her nursing home now....because she knows BIL will not take care of her (expecially BIL's wife. I do not see her taking care of MIL in a million years!) And she already does so much to help me with the kiddos...and we are both very opinionated to say the least....that I am not sure that she would want to come live with me!! Plus she is a nurse and has worked in several nursing homes so she would know which one she likes best!!
My kids are super good! I homeschool so they will be used to being home for a 'Christmas break'. My kiddos are not used to getting a million toys and such so it really is kind of low key.
We did have issues a few weeks ago because I let the kiddos keep the Toys R Us and the Target toy catalogs to look at and all I heard was "I want this! I want that!" Non-stop!!!! They about drove me crazy!! I threw the catalogs away and within two days they stopped doing it! Learned my lesson on that one and I will not be giving them catalogs like that again! We don't have cable so they are not used to all of the commercials telling them about all the cool stuff that they just can't live without either.
