A long dead tree limb with insect etched intricate art work.
Isn't Mother Nature awesome! That's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! Don't burn 'em! Let the grands put their stamp on 'em - shellac the heck out of 'em and use 'em for porch art!

My middle granddaughter is the artist. She got first place last year in a south Texas art contest-under the supervision of an art teacher, who sadly moved away. This year she got third place, mixed media, all on her own! I’m saving this piece of wood for inspiration.

Stupid blackbirds will bill the bird feed out looking for prefered bits. The little finches, sparrows, and such will clean up the ground. These two critters have shown up in the last few months. We haven't had squirrels before. They gladly clean up as well.
