Not much going on around here. We've had some crazy weather. The black chicken is taking a dirt bath in what will be a winter potato garden. I'll be growing beans in it this summer, hopefully, and harvest potatoes in early spring. After that harvest (next summer) I'll grow watermelon. It will continue on that way, potatoes then watermelon ...
Welcome to SS! :) Those are great pics, thanks for sharing!

Sumi, what breeds do you have there? I got Indian Runner ducklings this year and am so excited to have them in the garden....the two older ducklings are living there full time now and really working that space for bugs and such.

Bee, I have no idea! The lady that supplied the eggs (I didn't get to speak to her myself) said her ducks are Khaki Campbell, but only one of the ducklings was dark brown. Sadly we lost that one a few days ago. I'm going to see how they grow out and if I can get hold of the lady and ask her what other breeds she has.

I wanted Indian Runners forever and probably would get some in future. They are so cute and funny!

They certainly don't look like KC ducklings! Maybe mixed with KC? Cute, all the same! What will you do with them? Keep them for eggs, bug control in the garden, for fun, etc?
