wooot...
Im gonna have turkey this year...thanks to WBF LOL.
i was looking yesterday while out thinking mabe i can find a small turkey breast or something something the right size for 1 + left overs...but it was sooo expensive that i couldnt justify it...
Now i get to have turkey *yay*

THANK YOU!

in other news, yesterday i picked up 2 more shelves a basket a cuttlery tray and some cloroplast for todays projects...
so today i need to hang the 2 more shelves in the kitchen. the basket is for the cuttlry draw so i no longer have a cup full of knives and forks on my windowsill and that will go on one shelf.
and the cloroplast (corrugated plastic) is to block off the bottom of jack jacks cage to keep jasper from using it like a snack bar...im soooo sick of finding peanut shells all over my floor and chair, and its not good for dozer who wont discriminate between safe nut and peanut shell...should also keep my need to vacume every 5 seconds to a minimum too...i love my parrot but god's they are messy animals!

so yeah that should keep me busy for a little while later.

i also picked up a little accordian binder for trying to sort my coupons out a little better.
i know HOW the extreem couponers do the couponing deal to save all that money but i dont understand why...
all the coupons i have, some...some are usefull, but most are for things id NEVER buy under normal circumstances...and i watch the extreem couponing show and sure they get hundereds of dollars worth of groceries for next to nothing...but most of it is soda, junk food...you never see meat, or bread or vegatables in their carts...
sure having 600 packs of tictacs for free is lovely...but how do you make a meal out of that!? i dont understand it?!
how is filling your cart with crap youd NEVER buy (and seriously dont need) under normal circumstances just because its realy cheap make any sense?!
i want to see an extreem couponing show where the people use their goupons to buy REAL food, the makings of actual meals...not canned peas, hamburger helper, tictacs and soda!

yesterdays trip i managed to save about $10 overall with coupons, and an additional $20 or so in sales stuff.
but even so i have no coupons for anything TRULY nessicary to make a meal...none...what-so ever...nothing or meat, nothing for milk or eggs...or flour or yeast...
the usable food coupons seem to be for canned goods and frozen veggies...the rest tend to be for junk...
of the good food coupons tend to be for items that even on sale and with the coupon work out more epensive than the store brand.

anywho, enough of that rant, i think its time for breakfast...and i think its an oatmeal kinda morning...which means i have to go wash a bowl since i havent done dishes yet. lol

I get my best coupon deals at the Dollar General for toiletry items. I also use coupons on snacks and food when they have a $5 off $25 coupon of which I have two for today so I need to go shopping. I buy alot of stuff...shampoo soap razors deodorants just to donate it to the needy :hu It helps me too though because of how they count the coupons off. I get paid to buy Tic Tacs  I could save my receipts and show you how I do it here. The best meat sales are in Corinth, MS...I rarely buy meat here in TN, you're welcome to ride along with me sometime. Taxes are cheaper there too so it cuts the bill way down on average.

The major grocery chain up here by me has a nice little perk - depending on what/how much you buy, it prints out coupons for your next visit. DH handles our shopping and couponing, and always comes home with store coupons for $5 off your next meat purchase, $2 off your next veggie purchase, $10 off your next purchase, and so on. The following week, we scan the ad for stuff we can apply them to. We've gotten lots of staple items for free that way.

I agree that most coupons are for stuff that isn't healthy food. I do better with Walgreens coupons for stuff like paper, candles, peroxide/rubbing alcohol, batteries, and sometimes cookies.

i do like walgreens for that kinda stuff...yesterday i manged to get 2 new eyeshadows, for $14 had a coupon wiht essentially took the tax off lol, then got $5 back...used that $5 reward to buy 2 boxes of lindt truffle chocolates (christmas gifts), it was $8 a box (usually $11), and if you bought 2 you got another $5 reward...so i then used that $5 to buy ziplock freezer bags and reynolds wrap which i also had coupons for and were on sale...so i did well for that...lol.

i like the stores that give you register rewards that cna be spent on anything ect...those are always nice!

well i had all these plans for yesterday then found my energy somehow drained so ended up doing very little besides some stuff around the house...
today its rainy and wet...right now its light but looking at the doppler theres a heavy band comming trough, once that pases though i might try and get utside to start trying to pull apart the shed thats completly down. theres alot of good wood that i think i can turn into something for either the chickens, or potentially sooner than i thought rabbits...
(though honestly i might have to pass on the rabbits for now and put myself on the spring babies waiting list :D)

if the rain doesnt pass its a quiet day inside, have some dishes to do but otherwise...my indoor projects are kind of on hold untill the last of my bills for the month come in.
cellphone is paid, ive already taken into account my tv bill, got to pay my electric, internet and waiting on my gas and water bulls to arrive.
after that its paint supplies, i HAVE to get this livingroom painted...its driving me crazy sitting here on a grey day looking at white walls and an EMPTY fishtank...gah! lol.

yup i know where my priotorities lie huh?!

ill probably spend some of today working on my amazon wish list...couple people from ct experessed interet in sending something for a housewarming gift, and the parents want my birthday and christmast list...so yeah...thats someting to do for awhile...

we have eyeballs!
lol.
well only 1 set of eyeballs, the little hairless girl, ill get some pics either tomorrow or weds (2 weeks old) but yeah, eyeballs, which means theyll be toodling round the place in no time :D

once again got nothing done today that id planned to, the rain kept me in all morning and by the time it stopped the plase was a slippy muddy mess over where i wanted to start prying board apart...i figured slippy plus hammer plus rust nails was probably not a good combination...
more rains comming in tonight into tommorrow then supposed to clear up after that.
whihc means tomorrow is probably also going to be another lazy day of not much at all...if id known the weather was going to be yick for a few days i would have just said screw it and bought the paint when i was out on friday...would have given me something to do on these soggy days.

otherwie nothing special going on today
Dozer is doing well growing nicely, im thinking hes probbaly going to be about 70lbs full grown, though he could definatly suprise me and be bigger, his current growth rate isnt all that fast compared to what im reading online for am-bulls., butgiven hes not a pure bred dog...who knows lol.

otherwise...
planning baked tilapia with sweet potatoe "fries" for dinner
