What is 'attire suitable for conversing with the public' ? I go out in some pretty scary looking stuff sometimes - think that's why people tend to avoid me?

Hope you have a nice, uneventful day Pink!

LOL, it usually involes underware and then cloths that dont show said underware...im odd that way :p

got ALMOST everything i needs, need to make a trip up to jackson which im going to do shortly to pick up the last few things....
I hate to go out again today BUT least if ive got everyhting i can just get to work on the fence and get it done withtout having to stop to pick up stuff ive forgotten...
I still need the gate anchors for the T-Posts (itll mean less "splicing" for me to do and will make the fence less likely to fail/come undone)
i need a small basic fence tester, nothign fancy just somehting to say "yes...youll get zapped if you touch this" kind of device
and some electrican conduit...because im having to run the insulated wire across the back yard to reach the fence ive decided ill run it through electrican conduit which SHOULD keep it safe from digging dogs, me and the weed eater and curious ducks who like to put everyhting in their beaks. i may eventually dig a small trench to put the pipe in so i dont have to worry about tripping over it but that will be highly dependant on how much work i REALY want to do here lol...but least if the insulated wire is in somethign sturdy theres again, less chance of it getting damaged and failing...and itll protect the insulation aroudn the wire form getting damage and causeing short outs ect.
least thats the idea. so i need about 40ft of that (its only $1.50 for a 10ft length so doesnt add t much to the overall cost.)

once ive got all that, im almost good t go...need to finish pounding that 2nd rod in, another 6" or so shoudl do it. then ill position and hang the box and get the insulated wire sorted, that will run to the grounding rods AND to the fence so i need ot make sure ive got enoguh of that (i bougth 250ft so i HOPE its enough lol)
Once the insuated is all hooked up i then need to pull up the current welded wire thats their current pen, and move that to its new home, i think thats going to be another "big" job as it involves pulling out and rehammering in a few T-Posts and getting the fencing wire hooked up (and the ground is NOT even)
then its just a cas of pop the unulaters inplace on the t-posts, and start running the wire. got some nail in insulators for spots where i can use the trees in the woods which should cut back on the amount of step ins i need back there (i picked up 30 of those thigns lol)
so im hoping itll move pretty quick.

i will say 1/2 a mile of 17 gage wire is suprisingly HEAVY lol. id hate to know how much 1/2 a mile of 12g weighs!?

stopped at the flea market on the way home, chatted to WBF for a bit, but it was hot hot hot and i wanted to come home, check on the buns and eat before running back out again.

so yeah, this is me, going back out again :p

and then i was done. gcouldnt find the gat stuff anywhere so ill just make my own...ive got some good ideas on splicing wired securely from my dad so we shoudl be good to go. :D
m actually realy excited about this project its the first real "progress" project im doing and itll be sonice to sit on my back deck and watch the goats (and eventually sheep) in that back pasture :D
ive got such big visions in my head of how everything is going to look 4 years from now...lol.so itll be interesting to see how that AcTUALLY pans out. im realy hoping the goats wil make enough of a dent on this brush that i can get to clearing out and utilizing this property fully...that front acre where things have been dumped is going to be the toughest project for obvious reasons...but the brush itself is overwhelming part right now...i think im going to nee more goats LOL.

lol, what kind of puppy?! didnt see anyone giving any away so thats probably a good thing LOL
i think the humidity made it worse today despite the slightly lower temperatures. it was so sticky!

well, making dinner, chicken alfredo tonight with low carb (dreamfields) pasta and watermellon planned for desert! :D

i laid out the PVC electrical conduit and it shoudl work out perfectly to keep all those wires contined and neat and tidy and not eaten by the weed eater LOL!
1 step down...50 million more to go lol.

well this morning greeted me with thunder, i asked it to hold off untill i was done with my morning chores and it did...indefinatly, lots of rumbling but no actual rain yet. got forcasts for showers and storms all day (for the next few days) with a 50/50 chance so...
we could realy do with the rain...
Since i wont be able to do much outside today im going to hang the energizer for the fence (wont be plugging it in yet obviously, and possibly get the insulated wire run, thats going to be fun as i have to snake the insulated wire through about 60 ft of electrical conduit total.
going to run the first grounding rod, i can pop the pipes apart run it through 10ft by 10ft then reconnect the pipes. since ill be running both the grounding wires AND the fence charging wire through the conduit i need to do it in such a way i can keep track of which cabe is for the "hot" and which is for the ground, so i think red and green cable ties are going to be my friends for this project lol.

if i can get that project complete today i can probably work on getting the welded wire fence moved tomorrow, and then hopefully get the wire up tuesday/wednesday. i think im going to bring the goats up to the back yard and put them in the rabbitry while im working on the fencing, not ideal but better than trying to deal with them tangling themselves up if i try to tie them out...or worrying about where they are if i just let them wander lol.

id definatly like to have this done by midweek, and then hopefully have the guineas pen built before the end of next weekend :D *fingers crossed*
they are deifinatly ready for outside i think lol.
they need more room to stretch those long legs of theirs.

hope everyone has a safe day!
