Super Self-Sufficient
thanks
i know itll get better...its just somedays are harder than others in terms of beliving it.
todays been pretty slow, should be getting another 11 bales of hay before the end of the month to stock up (may keep my eyes open for even more in october, but i think 1 bales should do me ok, its not like we get 6 months of frozen ground lol and the privet stays green all year here meaning at worse i cut some down each day for them...
but it will be nice to have some on hand as a "just in case".
otherwise nothign going on.
decided that for my 2 little chicken coops in house #1 i want faverolles which are ok layers (but great winter layers) and make a nice table bird...
in house #2 will hopefully be cream legbars ust a little flock, i love em, spent some time with them in the uk and now there available here (all be it currently super expensive) id kinda like to get in on the ground level.
just not sure i want to go ith greenfire lines but ive NO idea how to import eggs/chicks from the UK at this point...
the uk has sooo many more cool color choices than the US...im in love with crele leghorns but have only seen them in the uk and australia...lol.
but yeah...thats about all i got. its almost 4pm...going to figure out hwo i want to cook this pack of stew beef in order to make it "pie ready" then its going in a pie crust with peas carrots and baby taters...
and i need to do Dusties nails at some point *ouch* lol.
