my runners make me laugh every day...
there very areodynamically challenged and arnt all that good at jumping unles theres some SERIOUS motivation...so they are easy to keep behind almost anything...they can get under the elctric fence andnot feel a thing and could eaisly go into the goat pen but they never bother...just the visual of somehting in the way keeps my quackers in place...

but its hillarious when they try to fly...they get down real low wait for a good wind and flap then JUMP...and yeah...LOL!
they are so silly.

whent out with E today, stopped at the flea market and saw WBF with her truck o piggies! it was like piggie tetris!
stopped at the $store to get milk and some bits to see me to tuesday when im going grocery shopping and thats been my day.

ive decided to try and find a new home for jack jack the macaw...
hes taken to biting the dogs when hes out...this behaviur has made dozer decide that jack jack must be eaten and today dozer almsot managed it...i cant have jack jack out neer as much as he deserves and needs without crating the dogs (because while dozer wants to eat him he wants to eat everyone else and will chase the little ones and could easily do serious damage to them)
so the ads have been placed. im asking "fair market value" so it may take a while to find the right home willing to pay what hes worth (ill be giving the cage free to the erson that takes him)
it hurts but right now its either jack (whos since taken to screaming every night to the point im realy starting to wish i could gag him) or Dozer...who i dont think i could safely rehome if i tried hes just to boisterous/high energy right now (though i will admit there are days hen i think i should...hes so crazysome days and then such an angel others...)
it also doesnt help that ack is expensive to feed because he wastes so much food...

other than that, decided ill be using the tileboard i found at lowes to replace the old tileboard...only ill be doing it properly using adhesive instead of screwing it in...
and if nothing else comes up for tomorrow i think im going to paint my bedroom...its the only room being done in pink...other than moving the drawers dog crates and bed it shoudl eb an easy room to do, i have the olympic one paint and it realy does cover well with 1 coat so im hoping 1 coat will be enough for the bedroom.

but yeah, realy not much to update about...

How much are ya asking for Jack Jack :( I do know a person who may be interested and he is very experienced with exotic birds. I could ask if he wants another for you.

id like to get $600 for jack and all his stuff, (including the mostro-cage lol) but theres a little bit of wiggleroom to the right home.

I wouldnt even cosider it if i had the funds to get him a girlfriend.
that being said, if he doesnt find a home i WILL work things out...itll mean some time managment going on to make sure jack gets at least a couple hours dozer free out of cage time a day...but that situation wouldnt be ideal...so if i can find the ideal one ill say goodbye to my dinobird.

nothings ever written in stone though...
just right now with the cold everyones cooped up in the house more than the ideal and i think its driving us all a little crazy.

Darn. He said he's not wanting one right now, but he will keep his ears open for anyone that is and give them my number. I did tell him $600, so he may find someone, or change his mind and get it himself.

I haven't had a chance to get cabin fever. Other than the days when it rains all day long, the weather's been fairly nice around here.

yeah its been raining alot here, now im a brit i can handel the rain but TN is aparetly not bult for it, eveyrthing is just a muddy mess...and worst because its mostly clay andsilt its a SLIPPY muddy mess.
add to that this cold is seriously kicking my booty and i just havent had the energy to deal with it...

im starting to regain some energy though now and the congestion is slowly starting to move, have to pick up my antibiotics tomorrow forgot yesterday and the pharmacy is closed today, so hopefully thatll give the boost i need to get past this yuck.

in other news the bunny colony is "active" this morning...unfortunatly however in a most confused way...my proven doe decided to start the day by humping the buck lol.
im hoping this means shes feeling feisty and they can get it right...after loosing those 2 litters im a little leery right now and realy NEED babies for the biggest sell time of the year. to replenish the food fund from winter.
I do ust love watchign them though in this new setup, every sunday morning i take an extra 15 mins in the morning feed schedual to just sit with them (or in this case since its muddy i ust crouched down) they always run over for nose scrtches and to check my pockets for treats, they are so much happier.
though i do need to think about putting up soe kind of barier between the 2 colonies to stop the occasional buck fights through the fence. bigwig got a good gash on his nose this morning when trying to "say hello" to silver, superficial, more blood than a wound that size realy needed so i cleaned him up and you cant even tell but still, going to be something to watch out for.

going to play with sprout robot today and make some plans for what needs to get done for what planting so i can start planning my beds and such.

otherwise todays plan is to do some dishes and try and get my bedrom done. i also need to groom ruby and give the dogs baths before advantix day tomorrow.
think im going to work onruby first, then paint then dogs baths then do dihes (because i cn do dishes any day)

SO yeah gotta get the day started if i want to get it all done :D

REALY proud of myself right now...my bedroom is painted! ive had the paint for about 4 months and just kept putting it off, too buy wiht other stuff ect...
well today i said screw it, moved by bedroom around (no small feat in itself sinc emy bed weighs a metric butload) and got it done!
i know itll make some cringe but my bedroom is now PINK! *happy dance*
all the trim is white and as i add decoatirve touches black white and sage green will finnish everything off (cottage garde poenies being the color pallet lol)
i moved everything around andnow need to start keeping my eyes peeled for the likes of shelving and artwork.unfortunatly when i moved my 3 drawer dresser i foun alot of moisture issues behind it on the wall and more so on it...
the downside of a ventless gas heater is the moisture bul up and the dresser against an outside wall blocking the airflow did serious damage to the dresser.
one of the legs simply broke off when moving it and its a particle board ikea special anyway.

ive moved it for now to the inside wall and pulled it 1/2 an inch from the wall to to allow some airflow.
and i need to see what the finances do in order to replace it.

ive got an idea using the same closet maid acessories a im making the bathroom vanity out of...theres the cabinates and some drawer sets, since itll eb a little while before i get round to doing the bathroom im thinking of picking up a crawer set and a shelving unit and using one of the cabinates, pop the drawers ontop and the shelving unit next to it and itll fit on an arkward wall thats currently waisting space.
i can use small baskets/plastic shoe boxes inside to organize my clothing that way (and keep it tieier than my drawers currenty are)
so ive got to price up the units id like to do it with...

if i can do this ill then empty the damaged set, scrub it down with bleach and let it dry, then repair the leg and move it into the guest room where im lacking storage for visitors.

but yeah...
so for the master bedroomi now need, 1 small set of drawers, shelves (and many of them) and artwork.
oh and room darkening blinds

next up will be the guest room, i already have the paint...just need the get up and go to get it done.
