That's always a good way to look at it. And, it will make the move much easier.

im hoping it works out, she has decided no on te pig but wants the goats, the banty cochins and the hutch and cage i have for sale...
just have to figure out when shed be coming...i told her shes got until Friday then i go to the next in line.

MIGHT have a buyer for miss sage piggy...MIGHT...we'll see.
keeping all the crossables crossed. were almost in February which means things are going to start motoring pretty quickly i think
gonna spend tomorrow cleaning, and then will start taking pictures of some of the things im going to be posting for sale that can go now...and then once ive got an actual date figured out ill figure out a day for an estate/tag sale...get everything that's coming with me boxed before then anything that's coming that i need will get NOT FOR SALE labels on it...and ill have a last minute hopen house and sell everything i can...anything left over ill give frineds first dibs and then see if goodwill wants to send a van for the rest.

kinda sad.

gonna be heartbroken when the critters go...but i cant be silly about it, its extra stress trying to move them, and the parents property isn't ready for critters, got fencing to work on and fix up the barn ect...so yeah.

put a little heater in the laundry room on and it seems to be helping keep the room fairly comfortable its probably even a ltitle warmer than it need to be but im a tad paranoid.
for $20 though its a good little heater and i think will probably come in handy in the barn, hoping to set up the tak room as a milking room instead and it can be completely closed off...figure itll be nice to have a warm milking room AND it would give me a warm room for babies if i need it. its got a thermostat and fan too and an auto shutoff if it gets knocked over, overheats or a fuse blows.

oh and whent out last night with some girl frineds, game of bowling and i actually didn't come in last....(im amazed i even hit any pins lol) then hit up a bar, only the birthday girl was drinking (and not driving) so we just sat enjoyin her drunken silliness, coupld o the guys working came and sat with us and chatted...then we whent to ihop...
stayed out entirely too late, but it was a good night.
exhausted today though.

plans for tomorrow involve cleaning the bedroom doing some laundry and more dishes...
gonna start sorting through clothing...

and yeah, i thin that catches everyone up...

oh, mum and dad got some goo news too, the ct house they are selling is confirmed to close tomorrow so fingers crossed that finishes up (because that's a huge weight lifted) and my little sister got accepted into the local community college psych program, so shes finally after 3 years of postponing, going to college...the college in county doesn't have the program so she has to go to the one in the next county over but gets to go for in county price because the local school doesn't offer it...and dads work offers a scholarship which works out at about 1/2 the yearly tuition fees...so yay her....
hoping this'll help her make some new friends in the area and give her a sense of self...shes 21 and still a teenager so im hoping this will be good for her.

yeah and we figue why pay triple or more for the first 2 years whn shell be taking the same classes at ether a 2 or 4 year...

got some good new last night...
mum and dad want thegoats and the pig so they are paying the extra to rent a 14ft moving truck instead of me selling them and just getting a little tow behind to transport my stuff.

I don't have to sell my babies!
means im in for some work the firstfew days between hooking u an electric fence and unpacking a moving truck, but I can do it :D, I can always keep them locked in the barn for afew ay anyway...

o as of right now the 1s or 2nd week of march is the plan. dadsgoign to fly in, we'll have the truck booked and everything needs tobe packed and eady to go, itll get packed up and off we go...getting the tow dolly for the car which will ave u some in gas money.
keira will have to ride in the cab of the truck, I don't trut her loose in he car unsupervised...but jsper and ruby will go in heir crates, the chickens in another, the cats in carriers and the rabbits in their little transporters will al go in my car to be towed, since it wont be super hot at that point and we wont be stopping anywhere for any long time, itshould be fine, the truck will then get packed with my stuff at the front, secured with tie backs and then a couple big tarps laid, and som straw down. sage will travel in keiras crate in the truck and the goats will get penned in with the playpen that's currently used as a gate.

I was so down about selling them...now I don't have to!

what I do have to do however is fine somewhere with a low cost cat neuter to get binx neutered, hes still not done cause the one ran out of funds... and I want to get him neutered before we move so hes a little less likely to wander and fight with their male (pip is neutered but a little bit of a grumpy ol man lol)

in other news...
we have a little bit o snow on th ground this morning, its cute! and it sems the little heater is doing exactly what its supposed to so YAY!

not too much planned for today, want to start cleaning the bedroom and have some dises to do, coffee date with some of thegirls from the group this afternoon/evening to :)

I would have cried saying goodbye to the so YAY.

in good news...
me and dad were talking, were calling it "Hope Homestead"
the street they live on is Hope Street, and they live just north of a little town called hope and well it represents a lot o hope too...

so that's the plan.

I looked up the town charter and the ONLY rule is you cant have a commercial piggery...which meas I can only keep up to 50 pigs lol.
there doesn't seem to be any other restrictions on livestock as far as I can find in the town charter.
so that's all good.

so yeah...eveyrthings pretty much in full swing, probably looking at 6 weeks to moving.
this week coming will be going through the freezer and figuring out meals so I can empty it out and working on laundry.
gotta find some boxes so as I do laundry I can start packing up the summer stuff and get that done.
and want to start sorting through my craft stuff too.
