That's sounds like where we live... except around 500 people live in the larger town here... and 40 people live in our 'village' where our house is. I loved it when we moved here four years ago, but now it drives me crazy that the closest grocery (8 miles away in the town) doesn't carry ANYTHING but prepackaged crap and I have to drive 35 minutes to get anything other than milk and bread...
