So the framing for the greenhouse is done. I was hoping to start sheeting it today but unfortunately I ran into 2 problems. 1 I dont have the proper screws. I spent 2 hours driving to the closest hardware stores and no one had them in stock so I will have to drive into the city tomorrow to get some.
2 I figured if I cant start the sheeting I will frame out the boxes for the beds and some shelving. I gathered everything I needed and just as I was going to cut the first board the skies opened up and we had heavy rain for the rest of the day.
I guess I was not supposed to work on the greenhouse today lol.
I will take a pic tomorrow of the progress so far.

I have to say I am loving my chainsaw mill. I am getting the hang of it now. I like making my own lumber which is a good thing as I need lots of it for my projects. Once the greenhouse is done I will be milling lumber to build my wife a closet then a deck and hopefully a barn befor the summer is over. I'm thinking I should invest in a thickness plainer. Just what I need a new toy lol

Chicken math lol when we picked them up they said they had so extra if we were interested. How do you say no to chicks lol.
The are white leghorn, columbian rock cross, road island red and barred plymouth rock
You don't say no to chicks. That's how I got into keeping chickens LOL Someone came to our house with a truckload and a sob story some 12 years ago and I ended up with 40 chicks. I only wanted a few, but he threw in quite a few extras.

Yes we started out last year with 5 hens, one rooster and one turkey. Now we have 4 turkeys and close to 60 chickens wit more to come as we have another banton gone broody and sitting on a nest and two of the Turkey hens are gone broody and sitting on nests so at the end on the month the numbers will go up again

So the green house is shaping up. Just need to finish the beds, put up some shelves and put the plastic on if I can get the proper screws

One of the chicks is telling the new broody to hurry up and hatch out the chicks so they can come out and play

Nice construction on the greenhouse. I'm sure it will be nice when it is covered in plastic. Are you going to add any vented panels to it?
