Sad news. Clyde

one of our bottle babies had to be putdown on sunday. He had kidney stones that blocked him up and his bladder broke. The vet said it was common in male sheep. That makes 2 males we lost this year. We are very sad with the loss and so is bonnie our female. I will start looking for another to keep her company.

Not sure what's going on with me. I have been sick the last 2 weeks. No energy to do anything I have to force myself to go out to take care of the animals which is bothering me as normally going out with the animals is usually my happy place. I'm not used to being sick. Usually when I get sick its 24 maybe 48 hours and I'm over it but now I dont know what's going on. I have been sick for the last 2 months. I have been sick more in the last few months than I have in the last 20 years. When I was in the hospital they told me I have mrsa hopefully that's not why I have been so sick and if it is I hope there is something that can be done.

Get yourself back to the doctor pronto. Sounds like you have a systemic infection brewing. Please don't delay. Are you running a fever? Digestive/bowel issues? Any unusual swelling, any heat in any limb or anywhere else? Don't leave until they at least run some blood work, particularly a CBC, and Chem survey or electrolytes. Have them check your urine also.

Sorry about Clyde. I've heard that bottle lambs often do not do well. Wonder if there's a reason why Mom did not nurse them in the first place.

So the framing for the greenhouse is done. I was hoping to start sheeting it today but unfortunately I ran into 2 problems. 1 I dont have the proper screws. I spent 2 hours driving to the closest hardware stores and no one had them in stock so I will have to drive into the city tomorrow to get some.
2 I figured if I cant start the sheeting I will frame out the boxes for the beds and some shelving. I gathered everything I needed and just as I was going to cut the first board the skies opened up and we had heavy rain for the rest of the day.
I guess I was not supposed to work on the greenhouse today lol.

I have to say I am loving my chainsaw mill. I am getting the hang of it now. I like making my own lumber which is a good thing as I need lots of it for my projects. Once the greenhouse is done I will be milling lumber to build my wife a closet then a deck and hopefully a barn befor the summer is over. I'm thinking I should invest in a thickness plainer. Just what I need a new toy lol

What @Lazy Gardener said X2! I've always said that doctors may be experts in medicine, but YOU are the expert in your own body. If you don't feel well, don't let them brush you off. I've known too many people that ended up getting really sick or even dying because the doctor didn't believe that something was not right.
