Im on the West Coast. Gulf Stream is on the East Coast. Yes, a disruption in the thermohaline ocean current would be devastating but would effect the eastern seaboard first.

And after writing all that I just realized it might have been a typo and you meant Jet Stream.

a one of the gals on the BYC Washington thread lives over there, Rosemarythyme, she has flooding

so wild I tell a, you always check to see if your buying in a flood plane but I dont know if they account for stuff like this
