I know I'm the dissenting opinion here..... but:

A president that disrespects the office of the president of the United States of America does not deserve My respect.

That's one thing that makes America great... That you or anyone else can speak (or type) freely. I just believe businesses should concentrate on their business and not on using their customer lists to push a political agenda. When they do, it turns me off.

I would take my business elsewhere. If our votes at the polls do not accomplish anything, our wallet votes may have more of an impact. In addition to finding another place to buy my spices, I'd let the manager of this store know why he'll not be seeing any more of my business.

Agreed with @CrealCritter.

I find my moral and ethical sensibilities under attack where ever I turn.

I can hear an other thread in the making: Spice blends and master mixes. How bout it, @Britesea ???

I'm game on that thread as long as someone posts a good spicy butt rub for pork.

Your opinion counts too. You are more than welcome to disagree. It's the rabid, foaming at the mouth, hate filled, on BOTH sides that make me want to puke. Good manners, politeness and respect for others have flown out the window.

I was proud for our country that we elected a black President. I did not agree with his politics, but I respected his office. I received many email forwards that were racist and ugly. I deleted them because I did not want to be a part of promoting ugly hatred.

Just a quick note that I'm SUPER impressed that this thread has been going smoothly and hasn't been anything reported!

It's so very rare that people can discuss these divisive topics without them going south within the 1st page. Heck, I know I even get pretty stirred-up with stuff that's going on, so my inclination is to not post / engage with it since I can easily get pulled in ;) I guess that's why the majority of active online communities "discourage" political and religious topics.

So, again, great job to y'all on keeping things super respectful!
Thank you on behalf of everyone participating in this discussion. We love and respect each other too much to let this skid off the rails.

The Constitution, Article II, Section 4:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

I have yet to see any convictions for anything. Did I miss something?

I don't like the man that Trump is. He would never be invited to dinner at my house. But I still respect the office that he holds. I didn't think Ex-Pres Obama was a good choice for office either, but I still respected the office he held.

I really hate having to vote for the least evil. But it seems that anyone who is qualified for the job is too smart to want it.

Hard to miss something that hasn't happened yet, lol. Conviction only comes after the Senate tries the accused. The process hasn't gotten that far. You've got the cart ahead of the horse a little bit.

At the federal level, the impeachment process is a three-step procedure. Only the first step has been taken.

I do agree with you about the least of two evils part. Myself as a registered independent that's the way every election is for me. And because I am a registered independent, I get it from both parties, emails, phone calls, mail, text messages, and pollsters. So much fun... NOT
