We used to have bifold doors without a lock on our bathroom door in the house I grew up in, our two terrier mutts would whack the door open every time we went in there and then leave you sitting there, unable to close the door. Bifold doors are dangerous! Next time put it on a higher shelf!!! :gig

No, not that much was eaten, maybe 6-7 oz. Probably just greased their pipes good. :/

Yeah, and it's raining, too. They really hate going any further than the walkway when it's wet outside. :sick

It's still dark at 7:30. I hate it when the days get shorter! But, I've got to get those clothes on the line. With all the rain lately, the dryer has been used way too much. It's about 46 here now, and the wind is supposed to be 15-20 mph and gusty. At least that should dry them.

Yesterday, I wanted to get alot of housecleaning done. I started in DS's room. Big mistake! What is it with 18 year olds and pig sty rooms? I spent 3 hours dusting, cleaning, rearranging and mopping. :sick I threw away magazines from 2003! I moved stuff off his shelves and put some of his racing awards up. I still need for him to clean out his clothes for Goodwill.

Afterwards, I vaccumed and mopped the rest of the house and cleaned bathrooms. :smack to housecleaning

Since DS and his herd planned a "men's night out", (they went to Hooter's) , DH and I went out to eat. I wanted to get some nice cold weather boots since I don't have any. The first shoe store didn't stock women's hikers. The second did, but I didn't like them. So, I bought some Timberlands in the men's department.

DS is racing tonight, (BRRRRRR!!) so I'm going to have Spiced Potato Soup for a late lunch. I usually take supper to the track, and take enough for everyone. But, no one else bothers to bring anything, unless it's a box or two of Little Debbies. I'm tired of feeding everyone. :rant Is that bad? I just think they should make an effort to help out.

morning punkin

no hanging out today for me---you are lucky your weather is changing, that means mine should be nice tomorrow!!!! yea dryer used too much but what can ya do right? Wind is great for drying! I like a windy day cause it also makes the towels softer instead of being brick like flying carpets! LOL

WOW you sure cleaned the house. Good for you. Come here, my house is next...lol...but I hear you.....I have been cleaning cause of the rain also and when that sun comes out I won't be stuck inside cleaning...it is done! :)

We are going to a corn maze tomorrow cause it is supposed to be sunny. Only 1 hr. drive from the house. Nicole should love it. Do you have corn mazes down there, well, guess your kids are too old for that--hmm..hooters is more attractive to them at this point..HA HA HA--cool

We have about 3 corn mazes less than an hour drive from the house. The Mayfield Corn Maze is really spectacular. It is layed out by airial mapping with a particular theme. The local paper usually posts an airial pic of it, but I've not seen it yet.

And, you're right - the boys are way more into hooters. :gig

It's still cloudy outside here. You are probably getting the drizzly, damp weather we had yesterday. Starting tomorrow, it's supposed to be sunshiney for the next several days. :celebrate

Hope ya'll have a great time at the maze.

:weee No racing tonight!! Not that I don't enjoy watching DS race, but it's stinking cold here. I'd had to have worn longjohns, wool socks, earmuffs, gloves, turtle neck, hoodie and a big jacket. It probably will be around 40 and windy at race time.

I spent most of the morning getting out the winter clothes. I have come to two conclusions: 1) I hate getting out the winter clothes, and 2) I have too many winter clothes. Again, I'm weeding them out and sending some to Goodwill.
