I should have thought about you. Now I remember you said yours died a while back. They didn't have it in stock, but I printed out the one I wanted from the website and he ordered it for me. You have to pay the full 89.99, but fill out the rebate form to get the $50 back. You should get it in about 4-6 weeks. They're really good about getting them back to you. Happy shopping.

I know that you made the right choice with Cocoa.

My daughter (the vet tech) has a dog that was hit by a car when he was a pup. They did the reconstruction for him, mostly because he is a large dog and they thought it would be easier in the long run. He was miserable for SO LONG and had so many vet trips. He is well now, but has a limp. He still protects that leg and is very scared of doctors. Recently he had to have a procedure at the vets that required him to be put to sleep and it was almost impossible to knock him out. He is so fearful of falling asleep there he fights it with everything he has.

Same daughter also found a young boxer mix dog that had been hit and the leg mangled. This time she choose the amputation. Days later and the dog was just GREAT! Less problems moving than the other dog still has. She says if she had it to do again she would have chosen the amputation for her big dog too. Dogs do not feel sorry for themselves - they just get better and get along.

FF- thanks for the encouragment. Cocoa had her stitches removed Friday and is doing great.

Breakfast was pecan waffles with syrup. I hadn't fixed those in a while. DH ate 3.

This morning I went up to let the chickens in their run and noticed that something had tried to dig in. We have 2x4's at the bottom and hardware cloth burried below that. Whatever it was encountered the cloth and stopped. DH went up to set a live trap near the run. I could be what chewed on our ederly dog Lassie.

Been planning out my new greenhouse: a whopping 12x36. We staked out where it will go. Gonna go ahead and buy everything we need so we can count it off on taxes. Out of my little 8x20 I grew over 1,000 tomato plants, not counting peppers, squash, melons, etc. I think I can sell enough to pay for it in one season, maybe two.

I'm getting excited about it. I'm ready to get my fingers in the dirt!

My biological father actually lived in a greenhouse for several years! I am quite sure the man is imbalanced, however I secretly thought it would be great! Imagine surrounded by the plants and able to see out on the world all the time.

Congrats on your new green house! I would surely love one.

This will be the 4th day of homeschooling DS along with his best buds. It's going OK. Yesterday, it was hard to get them motivated. After lunch, they settled in and got finished.

The oldest buddy is Jacob. He is only about 2 books behing in all subjects. He is supposed to graduate this year along with DS. He is not doing the college prep courses, though.

Now Josh, he is 4 books behind in all subjects. This was really suprising because he used to make good grades. I think his mom & dads separation has bothered him alot. He is a sophomore, so he still has some time.

I started my bread baking for gifts yesterday and made 5 loaves of cranberry swirl bread. Gotta do 4 more today.

Going to get the tree up today, I hope :fl I was going to have a Christmas get together with the extended family Sunday, but they are passing around a bad stomac virus. :sick I don't want that passed here.

Still making plans for the greenhouse. We have a tax ID# for agricultural purposes, so the greenhouse expense will be counted off this year's income. Works out to be around $.30 for every $1.00 we spend. We are looking for more ways to spend money on things we need to bring our total down more without going into real debt for it.

I got a little Christmas shopping done yesterday and will probably finish up Friday. :weee

I am sure those boys will be better able to get caught up on their work at your house. You had better make an extra loaf for them however. If I was studying with the smell of bread baking I would really get hungry! A good incentive for finishing the assignments!

***********Doesn't that just irk you? It sure does me. Having to spend money to write things off and keep the tax payment down....UGH--talk about screwed up......I know cause Ralph just bought up 5 heifers within the last 4-6 weeks cause he needs write offs also. (I just shake my head money needs to be spent like that in order to survive...crazy isn't it..LOL)

Tony bought me a digital camera last year. It was all fancy-fied......(fancyfied, is that a word..HA HA)---well I could not download the software into my old computer to take pics......but it is in the closet. I was going to just give it to my neice to have for the heck of it and get a Kodak easy share like you.....last one I had the software worked fine and I could do all kinds of computer pics like I should...........well this fancy thing Tony got me doesn't fly........BUT he said he was buying the printer that goes along with this fancier camera so I can print pics.........BUT I doubt I can get the software loaded to do this????? or if I can then transfer the pics from the printer set up into My Pictures so I can share on here.

I know, long rant on a camera that just hasn't worked for me!!!!!!

And what kills me is last year when I asked for a camera....I asked for the cheapy Kodak easy share cause I know it worked on my old computer and I knew the software.....BUT NO, he had to fancy it up and spend $179 that wasn't worth squat.....THEN I ask him to return it....what him go back to a store....yea right, so in the closet it sits.

I don't know why but that camera is a sore spot in my closet for me...HA HA HA HAHA

well I know, psycho ranting for no reason...sorry punkin, but digital cameras, I am beginning to hate them...HA HA HA

see ya later alligator! :)

FC - Kodak will often take used cameras in trade for new ones. I have not checked their website lately to see if they still do that but it might be worth looking into. I know last year at Christmas they were. I don't know what kind of deal you get but could not hurt to check it out.
