Awww, they are so cute!! Mine looked like that a few weeks ago. Mine are also still in the living room. Ewww! It is just to cold and wet outside to put them out. I try to put them outside for a few hours every day. But we have had so much rainy weather...

It is so much easier to watch them, when they are in the living room. I just sit by the wood stove and look into their pen and cannot get enough cuteness. LOL

Wishing for spring to come already!!!

Oh chicks! So cute! I can't have any more right now, but I think I have DH talked into a couple of ducks. He said something to the tune of checking out the duck bins when TSC gets them this spring! I guess it would depend on what they have, but I don't know what kind I would even want. I think I like the Khakis.

Adorable! I might have a couple heat lamp bulbs laying around in storage here I could add to the stuff I have for you... just a thought if you need more.

We are now up to five chicks, and at least 3 more screaming inside their shells.

Hope they hatch over night.

Actually, I had set eggs almost daily for a week straight, so I could have chicks hatching daily this entire week..... :hide and then the duck eggs are due next weekend...........

Chick count is now 8! We had one hatch early in the morning, and two hatched within the last hour. And we have another one pipped. :ya

Happy Valentines Day to me! whoot!! :woot

One of the hatchlings is a mixed bantam chick...the only bantam to hatch so far...and she's one of the tiniest bantam chicks I've ever seen! She has feather legs, so I suspect either a frizzle cochin papa, GL cochin papa or a Sizzle papa....won't know until she gets bigger, but I really don't plan to keep any of these chicks - except maybe the Splash Langshan :D

I'll try to get more pics :D

It may be winter outside, but in my house - IT'S SPRING! :gig
