QA - glad to hear all that good news! My goodness; that is a lot of canine at your place!

Whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!!

The well is at 85 feet - at least that's where he stopped yesterday...

He was down 71 feet at the start of yesterday, and water had trickled in over night - took 6 attempts to bale all of the water out that had pooled in overnight. And it hadn't rained the night before.

So, he started pounding and pounding, and when he stopped for the day, the water was gushing in. He hollered for DH and said, "Listen!" Dh was standing a good 3 foot from the hole and could here the water just gurgling and gurgling and gurgling.

So, the well guy said he'll only go down about another 15 foot to make sure we have a good reservoir - but right now, he said it's running about 2-3 gallons a minute which is awesome!!!

Anyhoo.....we bought too big of a pump, so we're taking the pump back today to get the right size - and the well guy told us to go to this other place to get the pump, because we'll save $100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So whoohooo!!!

Looks like total cost of pounding the well is going to be less than we had set aside - way less!

I think we need to celebrate with ice cream!

Yeah!!!! You can celebrate by playing in the hose. Do you need to let it settle, or run it a while, to clear first?
