:love love the little fatty and the horse is beautiful. I know you are enjoying the new place - I remember crying while I watch our new one pulled in.

wow beautiful place you have there! I'm so jealous over the root cellar! I'm still trying to figure out a place to put one here where we live!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Yes, today is my birthday. :D

and yes, E knows about the new goat LOL Yesterday he said, "One of your goats is making the most awful noise out there!" in reference to Fattie's (not her official name, we need something that starts with L to go with Lydia, Luna, and Lola...) low maaa....*snicker* he said, "I think one of them is sick or something!" I said nope, not sick. That's the new goat I brought home on Monday.

I mean, it'd been three days, not much he could say at that point - especially not after I pointed out that he'd walked by the pen more than a dozen times each day and not noticed once! HAHAHA

Yes, we got our new woodburner! We went shopping yesterday - and had a coupon to save either 10, 15, or 25 % off our total purchase. Our coupon scanned in at 15%!! We had the stove pipe, plus a gift for my FIL for xmas, plus a pony bridle for the kids for Xmas, plus a little sign for me for my b-day. Our total savings was more than what the three gifts totalled, so basically we got the FIL's gift, the bridle, and my sign for FREE!! :ya

The kids are loving the new house!

I'll tell you something else - I didn't want to see any of the white death until January!! :rant I'm SICK I tell ya of freezing in the winter when doing chicken chores! I told E today that I think the new coop has to be 12x30 instead of 12x16 so I have room to put our old wood burner in it - I'm not freezing in the coops next winter!! :D I've even started a "coop fund" where I'm putting back a small percent of the $ we earn driving towards the new coop.

Farm, don't be jealous! I haven't even got to ride him yet - and I've been a little bit nervous LOL E asked how can I have a pony if I'm scared of him? I told him to shut up. I just have to get used to him. Haven't rode since I was 16 - so it's been 16 years since I've been around horses at all!

Here's a couple pics of the kids' pony, Rocky, and another of Mick. (the flash spooked Mick and he shot off like crazy right after!) :hide

Did I answer everyone's questions?! LOL

The woodburner we got is a small one, but heats 1,750 square feet - and that's all we need! Plus, it has TWO burners on the top so I CAN cook on it if I really want to!! :ya :thumbsup :woot I'm eyeballing a cast iron kettle for the top!

I think that's about it for today. :)
